New person EW(B?)

Guess I oopsed on sign up. Every other message board I'm on I'm Electric Water Boy. Somehow the Boy part got left off. Oh well. If it can be fixed, that would be nice - even if it is made into one big happy word.

And just what I needed, another message board to be addicted to

I moderate the San Antonio forum on TexasKayakFisherman.com, so that should tell you I love fishing from kayaks. And my favorite place to do it is Boerne Lake. If money and job were no object, I'd move to the lake!

Welcome to Wild Texas. You're officially a boy now... I added the missing word to your username.

Once again, welcome!

Welcome aboard! Figure Shannon could get you fixed up and I see that she has already. Hope you can find what your looking for. This 'board may not be as busy as some but we have good folks on board who are interested in Texas.

Again, welcome and happy camping!

PS: Dang, "EWB"!!! Just went over and looked at TexasKayakFisherman.com. Looks like another 'board I may have to log-in on (as if I'm not watching enough of them now). We'll have to see.

Re: New person EW(B?)

To get to any of the local forums on TexasKayakFisherman.com you will have to register, and then you can pick what local forums you want access to. You then have to wait for approval from the forum moderator. The rest of the forums, except for General Discussions, is open to everyone. You have to beg to get on General Discussions because they talk about things that can get your blood pressure up - religion, politics, and who knows what else. I don't venture there!

Re: New person EW(B?)

I'm a "mod" on another camping forum. Got around all of that by just not allowing those types of discussions. It was decided that the 'board was for camping and that there are plenty of other places for those types of discussions. Has worked well over the years even given a few that have objected to the rules on occasion.

Happy Camping!

A few years ago that was easy on TKF too. But now there are over 8,000 registered users. Not all like to follow the rules. But I'd say 98% of them are pretty well behaved.
