Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays
Justin and I want to wish each of you, and your families and friends, a safe and very Merry Christmas and happy holiday season. We know this last week before Christmas can be quite harried, but we hope you have an opportunity to take stock of all the good things and wonderful people in your lives and celebrate!
If you have family or friends serving overseas this holiday season, we extend our sincerest thanks and pride to you and your serviceman or servicewoman for the hard work and personal sacrifice. It is not forgotten or lost on us, especially at this time of year. Our thoughts also go out to those who have served in the past, or are currently in the armed forces and doing work here in the States.
Take care and bless you all!
Love,
- Shannon & Justin Moore

Re: Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays
Thanks and Seasons Greeting to you and yours. One piece of advice from an old daddy. Get a bigger memory card for your camera before Christmas '07 for it will be like none before! Next year will be full of first and many magical moments.

Re: Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays
Now that's something I forgot to put on my wishlists (I was so focused on baby stuff I didn't really ask for anything "for me" this Christmas or for my birthday three days post-Christmas.)
Hey, Justin, how's about a 4GB CompactFlash memory card? Pretty please?
Actually, I could/should buy that for myself right now, since it would primarily be a business expense. Jus and I are both pro photographers (see Moore Photography & Design), though Justin's the only one who offers portrait services at present. I'm more at ease doing landscape, aerial and "documentary" type photography, though the ample experience I'll get photography our baby girl might convince me to join the ranks of portraiture photographers at some point!
We are so excited! Especially now that she's kicking/wiggling every single day, and moving a lot... it makes it impossible to not think about her being here soon every moment of the day!

Re: Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays
P.S. A personal "Thank you" to each of you for your efforts and enthusiasm over the past year. WildTexas.com is successful as an online resource of Texas parks, recreation and travel information in large part because of you -- your insights, stories, trip reports and advice to fellow Texans and guests to our beautiful state.
THANK YOU, and here's to an awesome 2007!
(And I swear, one of these days, I'll get our Web Guide back online... we had to pull it due to server resource issues with the ancient software we were running, and while we do have new software to support it, it's a very labor-intensive process to migrate the hundreds of thousands of links to the new software. We miss it, and we know many of you do too.)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Amidst all the horn blowing, elbowing, cursing, honking, tailgating and road raging, it's so uplifting to know that someone, somewhere, still has the Christmas spirit and... more importantly... doesn't have a death grip on it, but instead so willingly shares that spirit with a stranger.
(Links to an anecdote someone on my April 2007 birth board just shared.)
