Does anyone know a charter service to the island so I can take some Cub Scouts over? The Ferry caught fire.

My husband and I are trying to find an alternative ferry/shuttle to the island. So far the few charter services I've talked to that will do this are charging $100 for the roundtrip. Mighty expensive for scouts....and "civilians". I've emailed the port oconnor chamber of commerce to see if they can provide me with names and rates. If I hear anything back I will be glad to share it with you.

Any word on what the charters are charging for the trip out to the island, round trip actually...lol.

I saw the listing where "Jim" was used, but what was the price?

Apparently he charges $50. I don't know if that is per person, roundtrip, etc. We called the parks people again this weekend, but the ferry is still out of commission and no word on when it will be available. There was a fellow who was going to use him last thursday and Friday. I don't know how it went.
