Well 10 months is not 'recent', but maybe recent enough. If you have never been i suggest you try and get one of the full hook up sites. (I believe you use a hybrid) I find the water/electric sites too close together and some a little difficult to get into. i would imagine that the lake is going to be a little low because of the drought. Nice little park I enjoy visiting.

Re: Labor Day 2008 going camping?

Time flys three weeks to Labor Day weekend

Changed our minds made ressies at Ft. Richardson SP and Trailway (near Jacksboro, which is West of Ft Worth and North of I 20. May bike ride the Trailway (nice ride)

Where is everyone else going? Parks will fill fast

Re: Labor Day 2008 going camping?

We usually go to Inks Lake but w/gas prices so high, it gives me added incentive to stick closer to home for shorter trips. Think I'll make ressies at Brazos Bend -- they have 35 sites still left. We could go to the aquarium & maybe even Schlitterbahn for what I'd spend in gas to go further.....
