I just wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for your unending support and dedication to sharing information about Texas parks, travel and outdoor recreation opportunities here on WildTexas.com. Especially in these trying economic times, it's wonderful to see so many people sharing their knowledge, time-tested tips and tricks, favorite camping and hiking sites and so much more. We are so proud, Justin and I, of the family that's grown here on WildTexas.com over the years, and we wish every one of you a safe, prosperous and fun-filled 2009.

I'd especially like to extend my personal thanks to those of you who report spam forum posts to me, since my time is more limited than it once was and without your keen eyes and quick fingers, I might not be able to delete the spam as quickly as I am able. Keep reporting those spam posts as you see them -- it helps!

Also, thank you to everyone who has used our new Wild Texas Gear Shop to purchase goodies for yourselves and/or your friends and family. The proceeds help pay our monthly server management and maintenance fees as well as other crucial costs such as keeping various WildTexas.com commercial software licenses up-to-date (forum software, photo gallery software, etc.)

WildTexas is a great website! I can't go a day without checking in at least a couple of times. If I can't be "out there" enjoying the great outdoors everyday, at least I can enjoy it vicariously by seeing what others are doing and planning.

Thanks to you also. I always check in a couple of times a week, usually more. I have told many people about your site and many say that they read a lot of stuff on here but don't ever post. One way or another, loads of people appreciate it!
