Yeah, I've been meaning to update my avatar for awhile. Would you believe all four teeth came in at the SAME TIME? She went from our Gummy Monster to our Toothy Gal practically overnight! (And I won't tell you where's she's bitten her momma, three times, and drawn blood twice!)
She turns 11 months the day after Valentine's Day. I am continually amazed at how quickly time passes, and how much she grows and changes.
She will probably be walking in the next month or so -- she's very close. She already does a terrific roadrunner or Speedy Gonzales (remember the cartoon?) impression with her fast crawling, and she's starting to let go of things and test out her balance for several seconds at a time.
I'd share more pics, but there are some weirdos online and so most of our pics of her are protected behind "friends & family" permissions on Flickr.com, so we can control who sees her pics. /sigh The world's not always a nice place.

Welcome to the group Sandra! Nothing better than camping with your kids! Keeping up with my 10 year old son is great exercise. He does twice the mileage and goes down the same trail as me!

Welcome Sandra,
These indeed appear to be very nice people and I have gotten some great ideas and cooking tips on top of that. Enjoy your trip, we have to wait til the Houston Rodeo is over, volunteer work, but we love it. Have fun.

Indeed, Welcome Sandra!
This is really a neat site, with fellow Texans sharing their experiences and suggestions on parks and the great outdoors.
We have not stayed at Caddo Lake SP, but have drive thru it a few summers ago when we stayed in one of the refurbished fishing cabins in Uncertain.
It is truly a magical place.
Fishing is great, cane pole and some worms, a little hook and y'all will catch fish till your arms fall off. My kids wore me out.
Make sure to ride the paddleboat tour over in Uncertain. It's a great tour through the lake. Also, there's a restaurant over in Uncertain, that serves the best catfish I have ever had! For the life of me, I don't recall the name, but I think it's the only place to eat in the town.
Have fun!
