Welcome,

Try McKinney Falls, Bastrop State Park, Enchanted Rock, Perdernales Falls SP. Those are pretty close to you. Search thru this site, there are loads of good reviews in here. Something will look interesting and help you decide.

ive actually been to Enchanted Rock and Pedernales Falls, but never got to hike the trails. was with family and just did the normal touristy stuff. but it is those trips that have peeked my interest in getting out some more. i need to get back out there sometime on my own.

McKinney Falls and Bastrop State Park. i was looking at those earlier tonite on the texas parks and wildlife site. might go check one of them out this sunday. in the early hours while its relatively cool.
