Welcome, Ping. Give the Sam Houston National Forest a try on one of your hi#ing trips. The Lone Star Trail meaders for 125 miles including loops through the mixed pine, hardwood forest. It's very quiet and peaceful......a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the BIG CITY.:thumbsup:
