Everybody OK???

Got a pretty good storm come through here a couple of hours ago. Lots of rain and 60-80 MPH winds. Some areas reported 90+ MPH winds. Only one tornado reported (Cleburne) and some damage. No one hurt so far. We got a couple of small limbs down in the yard but others have had trees up-rooted. Just checked the "5th" and it's fine. DS just called and he has no power in his area. DD has power and their all OK. Will have to drive over and check our other property in the morning but the neighbors will usually call if there is a problem so I guess we're OK there as well.

We're safe with no damage to speak of so I feel we are well blessed. Hope all here are the same.

Happy Camping!

Re: Everybody OK???

A wild and windy evening but we survived. We need the moisture, but am growing weary of these severe storms

Fine in San Antonio. Also tired of the frequent severe storms and the concomitant flash flooding, power outages and high winds. No damage here, but getting a little tired of changing the little one's diaper by flashlight!

I can see where that would cause an issue. I would assume you are not using diaper pins so at least that is one less worry.

Happy Camping!

Re: Everybody OK???

The storm seemed to skirt around us, so we were fortunate. Neighbor's small tree uprooted and a few branches down here and there, but nothing major in my area.

Scary as it's been, it sure is nice to see everything greening up around here.

Re: Everybody OK???

Well, found out today that there may be some damage at one of our other properties. Will have to go over in the morning and have a look. Hope it's minor but won't know until I take a look.

Happy Camping!

Re: Everybody OK???

No big deal. Small tree down and a few limbs. Will go over later in the week and deal with it.

Happy Camping!
