Anyone from Lubbock know the guy who cooks over mesquite outside a bar on the Depot District??? I visited my friend in Lubbock last year in May and I had tried this one food from this guy who cooks outside this bar, it was brisket in a tortilla and had all kinds of hot stuff on it. Can someone tell me the name of this guy and about this guy who cooks there and also what the name of this certain food is called??

Sounds like good eatin' for a Texas style Thanksgiving.
While on the subject of BBQ, does anyone know if the Salt Lick outside of Austin is still open? When I lived in Austin back in the early 70's, I visited this place and it was some of the best BBQ I've ever eatin. Cube, you probably know of this place if it's still open. I believe it was somewhere between Buda and Dripping Springs. Thanks

I know the guy used to cook outside the Cancun Saloon I think it was called, but I heard that place isn't there anymore but the guy is still around somewhere.
