Howdy Anglers,

I was wondering if anyone has been fishing at Walter E. Long lake?

I do not have a boat/kayak/canoe, and I actually prefer bank fishing, especially since you can put ur poles in holders and do other things (grill, work on tackle, etc...)

I used to fish heavily at Calaveras Lake, and the bank fishing is awesome there, especially since you don't get caught up on rocks and massive debris underneath. I was hoping that W.E.L is the same. Does anyone know?

Any tips on bait/time of day/spots/etc... will be extremely helpful.
