I'm gonna be trying my luck up at canyon lake this summer with jug lines and maybe a trot line or two. Just wondering if anyone can offer tips on where some good spots are and what is good bait.

I usually go to choke canyon, but my brother is coming to visit this summer and wants to go camping. Since there isn't any good camping at choke canyon, I figure Canyon Lake is my best option.

at the mouth of the river going into the lake is supposed to be a good spot.
