Lake Travis Bank Fishing

Hello All,

I've been fishing a few times at Lake Travis; however I lost many-a-dollar on tackle due to the rocky bottom.

I've seen a few anglers catching bass near the dam using live minnows; however it's really hard to get a good cast our with a bopper on your line.

If anyone has any tricks or knowledge on tackle, spots, time of day, etc... for bank fishing only, I warmly invite your correspondence.

Thanks!
