Mr. Butch Ramsey and I went on an evening Calaveras trip on Sat 02-17-07. All fish were caught in 6' to 4' of water most on Big Marv's a few on shrimp. Everything came from about 1' from the bottom on rock covered banks. The Water was about 58 deg. wind was about 20 mph..
Fishing was a little hard until right after dark, then it was on, he wind calmed down and the fish were biting. Mr. Ramsey is another happy angler, planning a another trip for April.
