Arrggh! Port Lavaca Fishing Pier

I should of known better. I found out about the pier through TPWD's webpage. Everything in the description sounded perfect. Anyway I get out there today with two co-workers and found almost 90% of the pier destroyed. I wish they would of put something on the webpage saying so. I wrote them an email tonight describing my experience today. I hope they update the page.. http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/park/portlava/

Fishing report: Nada, zip, zilch, zero fish caught on what's left of the pier. A group of Dolphins were chasing the fish away. It was a sight to see but they ruined the hunt. We ended up going a couple of miles away near the marina and tried there. No luck either. Other than that, it was a BEAUTIFUL day. The breeze was light and the water was like glass.
