Your neat camping tricks.......

Whats some of your designs or whatever that makes camping easier?
mine would be Benadril for the kids= quiet time for parents:laugh: J/K

Tent stakes that work in sand
have some lantern holders I made for the beach, need to get some pics going I guess.
Still working on the A/C stand and sealing it to the tent.

Re: Your neat camping tricks.......

No tricks really, we keep things pretty stock. About the only thing I added was a set of Sterilite® drawers to my trailer's wardrobe. Helps keep clothes and all the "little stuff" in their places. Never have we felt the need to hang clothes while camping.

With our old popup, I added an A/C out the back end. This definitely made sleeping easier!

Mission Camper,

We also use a set of drawers in our wardrobe. It's much more space efficient than putting a suitcase somewhere.

Re: Your neat camping tricks.......

Here is something neat by DH did. He added a hitch to the back of the camper to add a bike rack. When we're not camping, the bike rack also mounts in the hitch of our van.

Pictures on web shots..

That's a great idea for a tent also. I was just thinking of getting those big ones that have 2 huge drawers and stacking 2 of those up, and giving each family member a "drawer" That would be a lot easier than moving suitcases all over the tent.
Plus, if the ground gets wet for some reason, everything is off the floor. I'm wondering if the minivan would have the room for them though. I'll have to do some measuring.
