You now have a dedicated URL (website address) for the Wild Texans Camping Club:
http://campingclub.wildtexas.com/

It includes links to the Wild Texans Camping Club discussion forums, calendar and photo gallery.

It's nothing fancy. I just threw it together very quickly to aggregate all the camping club related tools/information we've been discussing lately.

You will find there are now Regional/Local Discussion Areas within the Camping Club discussion area so folks can better locate potential camping buddies/friends/partners. This solves the "Where does everyone live?" conundrum.

I used the same regions as TPWD uses. If there's a better way, let me know. We can't create a forum for every major city in Texas, btw.

I am still mulling over whether or not the Camping Club's forums should be listed on the main index of the Wild Texas Talk / Discussion Forums. Right now, I have them hidden from that page and only accessible via either access from http://campingclub.wildtexas.com/, bookmarks and direct links, and (I think this is desirable) from Wild Texas forum searches.

OK, I'm blind! I can't see how to get to "Wild Texans Camping Club" from the Wild Texas site. It's probably right there in front of my face. help me

You guys have your own website -- your own domain name:
http://campingclub.wildtexas.com/

Add it to your bookmarks. You can access it directly. It links to the club's forums, photo gallery and calendar.

There is also a link to the Camping Club's site on the home page of WildTexas.com -- look below the recent discussions block on the right hand side of the WildTexas.com home page. You'll see:

If this still doesn't make sense let me know how I can make it easier to use/access. I thought giving you guys your own URL would be the best route and easiest to share with others than saying, "Go to WildTexas.com and find the Camping Club forums."
