    Unfortunatly, I'm expecting the following to be true in the Hill Country as well as North Central Texas. Will have a pretty good idea next week.

    Well, we got back from Inks Lake a few hours ago. Must say that the bluebonnet display left alot to be desired. They are up but not near to the extent that they were last year. Saw some fair patches between DFW and Burnett but there was nearly nothing in the park. Not real surprising given the dry fall and spring we have just gone through. Of course, it would have been really hard to beat last year's display but one can always hope. It will probably get a bit better over the next few weeks but I wouldn't expect any kind of bumper crop.

    Have some new info on Inks and will be posting that in a few days. Until then and always,

    At Pedernales Falls SP, the river and falls (cascades) were flowing nicely. However, there were only patches of wildflowers scattered about.

    Turnkey ,have you heard anything on plans for Inks Lake Golf Course,I hope it becomes part of the park.
