i went to chalk bluff park this past weekend and decided on going horseback riding on friday and saturday. with all the rain the area has had the ride was absolutely beautiful and the purple sage was abloom making he area look like small christmas trees covered in snow. the owner of "scenic trail rides) 830-279-3322 oscar, was a great man in helping everyone with all levels of riding experience. he let my seven yr old daughter ride her own horse with no help from anyone and she did great. the scenery was grat and the ride was thoroughly enjoyable. if you book rides throught the camp they are 25$ but if you call oscar direct it is 15$ for an hour to an hour and a half ride.:cool:
