Share Your San Antonio/Central Texas Route Maps

The Bicycle Mobility Advisory Committee (BMAC) --sametroplan.org--of San Antonio is working to update its Bike Map (3rd ed.) and it's soliciting input from San Antonio and Central Texas bicyclists on potential bike routes to publicize.

Good Morning,
Thanks to all who were able to make it to our meeting on Wednesday evening. We had 26 non-agency/non-committee participants at the meeting.

Cecilio's presentation focused on the upcoming bike study that will eventually lead to our 3rd edition Bike Map. During the presentation he also discussed the concept of having a dynamic map on our MPO website of routes submitted by cyclists. Also having a common area for group discussion on cycling issues.

These routes could possibly be included in the final hard copy map, also, if the locations meet the requirements that will be determined as the process moves forward.

I invite and encourage you to take the time to route your map and send it to us to share with others.

Let me know if you have questions.

Have a great week........hope to see you on the road

Lydia

I urge everyone who cycles in San Antonio, Austin and other Central Texas locales to send Lydia your route maps as well as any interactive links you may have (for instance, Justin uploads his GPS tracks to MotionBased and Bones in Motion.)

Enjoy!
