President Wipes Out on MTB

Any mountain biker or even serious road cyclists at some point take a spill while cycling. Justin took three such spills just this past weekend when we tackled a trail that's still beyond our skill level (or at least, his ) at Guadalupe River State Park.

Still, there's something a little disturbing about the "Leader of the Free World" wiping out into a police officer, suffering scrapes and bruises.

Hey Shannon,

Tell that old man Justin, he should stick to the simplier trails like the ones at Perdenales State Falls. The scenery is beautiful and the climb back up the hills give you quite a work out, but even Turner enjoyed the ride. We last went in the early spring (March) when it wasn't 103 degrees outside.

Disturbing in what way?

Leader of the free world.

Lots of important decisions to make every single day.

Wiping out on a mountain bike, into another human being, while in a foreign country.

Nothing at all disturbing about that? This is, after all, the man that wiped out while riding a Segway scooter...

Perhaps we should encourage him to take up B.A.S.E. jumping for a little extra excitement? Less likelihood of running into anything, except at the very end.

Pedernales is definitely on our list! Right now, we're getting our "cycling legs" by doing group rides at McAllister Park and downtown, as well as some fast-paced circuits around a county park near our home.
