Garmin Edge 705 Review

Just posted, Part I, of my review of the Garmin Edge 705 cycling computer. Here are the details:
Bike Geek: REVIEW: Garmin Edge 705 (Part I)

Do YOU use a cycling computer? If so, post a reply to this email and let me know why. I'm curious!

Re: Garmin Edge 705 Review

I do...I have the Garmin 205 since the features of the models above that would have been more than I really needed.

It's about a 50/50 split between personal and for website purposes as to why I use one. Personally, I like to know the max speed i hit on a trail, my avg speed to see if I rode it faster this time around, and I like to keep track of how many miles I have put on the bike. As for the site, I use it to confirm or find out a trail's length and since I recently received the 205 I can now add elevation profiles and map overlays to enhance that trail's listing.

Since I just got it in the last couple weeks, I'm sure there are other features I have yet to play with that I may find useful towards either aspect.

Best of all? It's small, more functional than a normal cycling computer and no sensor on your fork and wheel!!
