Talking First bike ride at McAllister Park

Just returned from my first bicycle ride to McAllister Park. It was a blast! I met a friend of mine at 0800 and we biked for about two hours with a total of 12.5 miles. The diversity of trails offered varying degrees of challenge.

By the time we left at 10:00AM the parking lots were getting full. It is, afterall, the July 4th weekend!!

My new Gary Fisher Tassajara handled the off-roading very well. It was a lot of fun exploring this oasis of nature in the middle of San Antonio.

Shannon and I will be exploring the multi-use trail at Guadalupe River State Park soon and that should provide some additional thrills!
