East Texas MTB
Does anyone know anywhere good to ride in East Texas?

I'm looking for a singletrack slightly technical type trail, not a lovely paved track around a pond.

I live in Lufkin.

Check out Tyler State Park. I've always heard the trails were nice but personally have never been there. If you want to drive a couple of hours, head east to Rustin for the best 10 miles of singletrack Louisiana has to offer.

This page on TPWD may help you. Caprock Canyons and Lake Sommerville have the rails to trails. Tyler is classified as mountain biking.
