I meant to post this sooner, but Sara keeps me busy and I seem to be getting more forgetful when it comes to things that don't have to do with her well-being.
Anyway, a couple weekends ago, Justin participated in the
Conquer the Coast bicycle ride in Corpus Christi, Texas. He planned to do the 65-mile route but the course was canceled due to flooding at Corpus Christi Naval Air Station, which the route would have passed through. So, Justin joined his father, brother, brother-in-law and nephew on the 25-mile route. I'm
so proud of them all, and wanted to share a couple blog entries Justin posted on his
Bike Geek Blog:
Justin's been cycling to improve his blood pressure, cardiovascular fitness and overall health for over a year and a half now and I'm so very proud of him.
Next weekend is the annual
Valero MS-150 "Bike to the Beach", which Justin and a group of his co-workers and friends rode in last year. He's sitting out this year's ride since being a new daddy has (happily so) cut a bit into his bicycle training routine that such a race (150 miles, from San Antonio to Corpus Christi) requires. Coverage from Justin's participation in the MS-150 last year is available here--
