    Wildflower Report

    If you've been out recently and have discovered an area profuse with wildflowers, let us know where.

    We drove out Hwy 290 from Houston to Brenham and turned north on 105 to Washington-on-the-Brazos State Park. I don't remember seeing as many coreopsis before as there were this year. (Yellow flower with yellow center.)
    I would rate the bluebonnets and paintbrush as good to above average this year. A few wine cups were showing as well.

    The yearly pilgramage was indeed delightful, especially when one is able to escape the bustle of the big city. :cool: :cool:

    Loop 360 in Austin.
    IH 35 from Austin to San Antonio.
    San Antonio Loop 1604.
    FM 20 between Fentress and Lockhart.
    Hwy 21 between 183 and Bastrop.
