Methinks that Texas Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson has a bit of a power trip. So nice to know someone like this has a place in our state government and holds our best interests in such a high regard. :rolleyes: :no:

I recently found out this kind of thing has happened before with Perry/Patterson! More reading at the links below. The Black Gap Wildlife Management area deal, (which was posted of in this forum) and 400 acres near Eagle Mountain Lake near FT Worth/Dallas. Mr Patterson seems to enjoy making ugly comments when someone questions his actions. Not someone I would vote for!

Unfortunately these days, TPWD is more inclined to diminish the number of parks in the system rather than add to it...thanks to our state gov't for siphoning off money from their budget each year for other programs.
