Things have gotten a lot better since we were kids,we can only do our part and maybe it will rub off on others.I know my kids pick up and clean were we go and it's something I have never pushed on them,they have watch me and I'm very proud they do, it's hope.

Reminded me of doing some snorkling about 200 yards or so below the dam at Garner one time. This boy, probably about 12 years old, arrived and started cleaning up cans, bottles and other debris from the river bottom. He had brought several large trash bags along; so, my daughter and I joined right in and had a great time cleaning up that section of the Frio. My wife and I were both scouts and have always tried to teach our daughters to leave campgrounds, parks, etc., better than the were when we got there.
