Hello

Hello this is a cool site. Any cavers in here? I have a website you can check out here:

My favorite park is Big Bend, I'd like to go back there someday. Also Enchanted Rock is a cool place!

Welcome to Wild Texas, TexasCaving.com! We're happy to have you here!

My experiences in caves are limited to those typical guided tours of developed cave systems: Longhorn Cavern, Natural Bridge, Cascade, etc. I've always wanted to take one of the "cave walking" and/or "cave crawling" tours offered at Colorado Bend State Park, but haven't done so yet.

How'd you get started in caving?

Re: Hello

my job is finding new caves... and i get paid for it until I move out of state, anyway.

that entails excavating potential caves as well... which gets a little tiring and hot sometimes...

Re: Hello

Hey, welcome. Yes, I'm a troglodyte. I used to cave a lot in the past when I was single and younger. I used to cave a lot in Alabama (great caves there!) In TX there's not that many near Dallas, or should I say zero.

The only wild cave I've been to several times is in West Texas called River Styx Cave.

Re: Hello

Hi, my name is Jeremy and I'm in El Paso/Juarez for the summer working. I've caved in Indiana and Kentucky and would love to get some caving in around here, but need help in knowing where to start looking. Anyone have a grotto group or cave to recommend? Thanks,

Jeremy
