December 6, 2008 Colorado Bend SP Crawling Wild Cave Tour Discover what speleologists (cavers) experience while exploring the underground world. This self-guided, crawling exploration lets you venture out without a guide for a true caving experience. Map and information provided to launch your exploration of the many tunnels and passageways in one of our crawling caves. Tight crawl spaces - not for those with claustrophobia. Three lights sources and sturdy footwear required; elbow and knee pads, long pants, long sleeves and gloves recommended. December 13, 27, 2008 Kickapoo Cavern SP Wild Cave Tour This rugged two-hour adventure hikes deep underground across fields of loose boulders into the heart of the great Kickapoo Cavern. The primitive tour passes the 80-foot tall twin columns, the largest known formation in Texas. Participants should be in good physical condition, must bring two light sources per person and wear sturdy footwear for hiking.
