Texans at Lake Tawakani SP 11/07

Small crowd but wonderfull November weather. After a breezy 39, it was 70's near 80 and mid 50'e (perfect sleeping weather) and dry the rest of the weekend. For a full report on the park
see Lake Tawakani State Park review

They have finished the new restrooms, and for us its a first to see this, they have four personable (M/F) restooms, each is handicaped accessable, with a toilet seperated by a wall from a shower. The door locks so its a private restroom while your in there. There is a bench to set stuff on.

Still a nice park, that was not full despite the closeness to big D and the weather.

The favorite complaint of the weekend (young girls hogging the showers Saturday night, "like a sauna")

Otherwise great weekend with smores with Reeces PB cups and then dark chocolate around the campfire. Fish were biting as a front came through.

The big web is gone, but there were lots around,DW found them inside the trailer, around the picnic bench, on our chairs outside.

They were harmless to me
