    Tent Padding

Since it's cooled off, we've been getting caught up on our camping! I was wanting to know if anyone knows of some kind of padding that you can get to put under the tent and on top of the tarp...some places don't have tent pads so you have to setup where ever you can and sometimes there are rocks that don't look big but feel big through the tent floor...

Not sure where you camp but from scout campouts to backpacking to family tenting, location location location are the three big things for my tent. (although I trailer now)

Pick a high level spot to pitch your tent. You'll sleep better, and should it rain during the night water will drain away from your tent. Erect your tent far enough from any campfire so that sparks won't fly into it. Never set your tent up on low ground. Aim your tent door away from the direction of the morning sun. That way you won't wake up and exit your tent into the blinding sun.

Normal tarps and an air matress should a take care of any rocks, otherwise find a better spot. You don want to much under the tent so the airmatress can solve the back problrems from hard or rocky ground.
