Thread: South Llano

We just got back from South Llano what a nice park,Rangers there are the best.We stayed 10th thru 15th and enjoyed the river even thu it was lower than normal.We had hot hot hot days with no wind ,the area is very dry and burn bans are being inforced.We rode bikes-hiked swam and floated in river.I saw a horned toad lizard the first one my son has ever seen,many roadrunners-dillows-racoons-deer(very thin)-and skunks.We tried to fish ,but no luck.The park was full and normal shade spot where thinner then normal,they need some slow rains to liven up.All in all a great time and like this park more and more every trip there.By the way Coopers BBQ has gone up a little on there prices but still wonderful.We took a New to Us Pup that We picked up from friends who are spiltting up 2001 Coleman Utah and it was great ,a little more room then our 95 model,alot easier to setup and pulls great.Dw even liked it.Well back home now, got to go unload and cool downhope everyones doing fine.
