One thing that we do have that helps tremendously is a little tent fan. It attaches to the dome of the tent with a magnet. It's battery powered and small, but moves a surprising amount of air through the tent. Even in July, it keeps me comfortable at night.

That's what made hearing the A/C units cycling on and off so frustrating -- the fact that we were on slow broil in our tent, lying on top of our Thermarests in our skivvies wishing a flock of birds would at least fly by to stir up some semblance of a breeze!

I chose our tent specifically for its breathability, but when there's high humidity and no wind, the only things breathing are our overheating bodies!
