We were supposed to leave early tomorrow morning for a 10 day Tour of Texas camping at South Llano, Davis Mountains and Pedernales Falls.

Sadly we have had to cancel.

I am so sad! I have been looking forward to this for so long. We even borrowed a PUP for the trip and I made complete packing lists and was so excited. We had some things come up though and it is what it is.

On the bright side we will be going to Minnesota in December to spend Christmas there with friends. We won't be camping. We have now decided to turn this trip into our family vacation for the year. We plan to spend 6 days in Bloomington including Christmas Eve and Day and go to the Mall of America and skiing or at the very least sledding. Then on the way home we plan to spend a few days in the Ozarks around Eureka Springs. Hotels are cheap that time of year.

We are now looking forward to that but it is still hard not to be sad about cancelling this trip. I was so looking forward to swimming in Balmorhea!
