Seeking family rv campsite in/near Boerne

Hello!

My husband is taking Harley driving lessons in Boerne, March 8-12th. We are looking for a cool campground around that area. The Guadalupe River State Park is booked. We would like something that has some fishing/swimming and walking/biking trails so that the kids have plenty to do while dad is taking classes.

I read a thread about Pop's Place and Goat Hill Camp. I also downloaded info on Alamo Fiesta RV Resort, Bergheim Campground and River Outfitter and a couple of other camps.

Any suggestions or feedback on camps will be much appreciated!!!

Thank you, Susan Phillips

Is that anything like motorcycle driving lessons

Have you thought about the state parks? Lost Maples has a nice pond/waterfall with camp sites around it. It might be spring break so crowds can be a problem.

Alamo Fiesta is what we call a stack em and pack em ground. If you like room think about the state parks...Hill country state natural area, Garner??

Good luck

Yep, that would be it!!! I was trying to shorten the post because I tend to ramble on and on (English teacher) a bit too much. Anyway, I would love some input. I just want to have a good time. It's our first camping trip, we are borrowing a friend's camper because we haven't found one to buy just yet.

Thanks for the info about Alamo. I am thinking we might take what we can get at Guadalupe and then switch to Alamo the last couple of days since hubby's lessons are a full day on those days. Unless I get some good feedback on Pop's Place at Medina.

I loved Lost Maples, but you are right, spring break is making this difficult. We only found out a couple of days ago that we could borrow our friend's camper.
Have a great day, Susan
