Can anyone recommend great tent sites at these two parks? We plan to go there next summer and I will be making reservations this summer as I see you can make them a year in advance and I want the best possible sites.
For Lake Ouachita I am wanting something shaded and on the water. Walk in tent sites were recommended by someone else however once I ran that by my husband it was promptly vetoed as he wants electricity. I'd like for my kids (and myself) to be able to just get right in the water when we feel like it and not have to walk to the swim beach. Plus we will have two of our dogs and I want them to be able to swim and play with us. Any recommendations?
We are mainly going to Petit Jean to hike so wooded sites are fine. Any recommendations?

Lake Ouachita is a pretty park, I do not remember if where we where at there was just for trailers but this is site 97, and the one across the way
All of the were shaded and we swam right there
for a fun outing visit the bath houses at nearby Hot Springs National Park
