Another post mentioned this park and I visted its web site, any live feedback?

Mostly tent sites but it looks interesting.

Pace Bend is 30 miles west of Austin on Lake Travis. From the intersection of RR 620 and Hwy. 71, take Hwy. 71 west 11 miles to RR 2322 (Pace Bend Park Road). Turn right on RR 2322 and travel 4.6 miles to the park entrance

Not a good time to visit. Lake Travis is down 11 feet. That is a lot of exposed lake bed from shoreline.

Your right, based on our recent trip to Austin (early October 2008) and a visit to Pedernales Falls SP, the whole area is in a bad drought. Any insights on the campground itself for future reference?
