Hello everone. Im new to this forum. I am planning a trip to the Texas coast and am looking for a good camping spot. Im trying to find somewhere between Rockport and Port Aransas. I also would like to camp right on the beach. Preferably a location around good fishing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Four words -- Padre Island National Seashore. It's the best place for beach camping in Texas, as well as fishing (freshwater and saltwater). Other coastal parks offer some beach camping, but Padre Island's the largest and most varied of them since it's a National Park.
