looking for a GIANT tent (not me)

This is one of the tents "of the year".

This Eureka! camping tent measures 16’ by 10’ by 7’3”

More room than our old popup! This is not for carrrying too far at almost 40 pounds

Re: looking for a GIANT tent (not me)

LOL Troop. I can't say anything because I have the Eureka! that is larger than that. I have the "Condo". It's 10'6 x20' and has an 8'6 center height. I am trying to sell it if anyone is interested . I found a Blackpine Sport Turbo tent that is just as large but has the poles built in. We LOVE the Eureka! but it does take some effort to get it up with just me and an 11 year old (I'm sure we have provided a good show to our fellow campers on many occasions )

You are right that it is NOT a backpacking tent. I keep the poles in a separate bag and that makes it easier for my 5'2 frame to carry. Unfortunately, the turbo tent has the poles built in and it weights in at about 73 lbs

Holy cow that is one BIG tent, are you nuts? (no offense), site says its at least a 6 person tent ! (or do you the 10 person one)

I think someone tricked you, there are a number of qualty, easy to set up tents that are much smaller than 73 pounds and you and you son would still have room. (And just as much fun) We backpacked for a week carrying less than 73 lbs !
