Inks Lake and San Saba

Just back from taking DD and her friends camping at Inks Lake and a side trip to San Saba to check on Pa Paw.Everything went great and had a good time, only one bad thing the whole trip,DD's friend Erin twisted up an ankle pretty good while hiking. After some ice and making her rest she was fine.

Restrooms are all up and running and no crowds, and they let us have fire in camp in fire rings and grills as long as you had a cell phone.Made cooking much easier since we grill almost everything. We had some showers from Dolly but they were welcomed other wise it was hot.The Rv side of lake was busy but tent side was'nt.

We left Inks to go check on PaPaw at San Saba and girls loved Mill Pond Park a true Gem in that area.We spent a day at Colorado Bend yakin.Wish we had more time there but we had to get home .All and all a good trip with tweenies as could be.
