Dog-Friendly Tent Camping

Hello,
I am trying to get a list of dog-friendly, tent camping parks/locations in Texas, especially within a two hour drive from DFW. Thanks in advance. We are hoping to share tent camping with our young sons and take our dog, too.

Re: Dog-Friendly Tent Camping

Dogs are permitted at all Texas State Parks, they simply must be on a leash at all times. State Natural Areas, Wildlife Management Areas, city/state/county parks may have no pets policies, but for the most part leashed dogs are permitted at most of our parks.
