Re: Corpus Christi

There is a State Park off hwy 37 near the town of Mathis. I think they call it Lake Corpus Christi. Nice area. Kinda hot to be outside unless your in the water.

Re: Corpus Christi

Mustang Island State Park is on the coast but still quite close to Corpus Christi. It's kind of "parking lot" camping, but the location next to the dunes is great and each spot has a nice covered picnic table.

Goose Island State Park is a little further out - it's just north of Rockport. It's one of our faves. Lots of different camping options there.

Re: Corpus Christi

I am bumping this up to see if anyone has any other rv camping suggestions for Corpus Christi. I can't believe it's as limited as the internet search is telling me.

Thanks in advance, Susan:cool:

Re: Corpus Christi

Go to Corpus Christi CVB site. Click on Accommodations, then RV and camping. There are 2 that have websites.

Laguna Shore
SeaBreeze

If you are flexible, look at Rockport-Fulton and Port Aransas areas. Goose Island State Park is wonderful and they have RV sites.

Re: Corpus Christi

Thank you....we go to Corpus often to see friends and family. We just bought a RV. I can't wait to take it to Corpus...well, I expected that they would have some awesome RV parks, but I haven't found one yet.

Thank you, Susan:cool:
