Do a search of this site and you should find a lengthy discussion on Medina.
I remember reading it but cannot remember details and have to go to work

Re: camping at medina lake

If you can devote an hour or so to a sales talk and a tour, you an get a 3 day/2night free stay at Thousand Trails Medina Lake. Its nice, with activity center, swimming pool and spa, 2 fishig docks, boat ramp, minature golf, etc.

Re: camping at medina lake

You have to go to Lake Medina RV Resort. It is wonderful and beautiful. We spent Spring Break there. We drove around the lake and looked at the other campsites and other than Thousand Trails which requires membership...I would NEVER stay anywhere else other than Lake Median RV Resort. You can find them on the web. They have the cleanest restrooms, best and most beautiful pool and spa, tree covered camp sites and fun activities. The water access is awesome and the owners and employees make you feel like you are at home. It's a 5 1/2 hour drive for us, so we can't get there as much as we would prefer. I look soooo forward to getting back there. I almost hate to share the secret of this place, but it's too beautiful not to share. Hope this helps, Susan

Re: camping at medina lake

Wanted to add that we drove to each of the camping grounds at Lake Medina and were SOOOOOOO thankful that we stayed at Lake Medina RV. Other than Thousand Trails, the other sites were SCARY. There was 1 that was under new construction, on the water with a nice fishing pier, but my husband thought it would be a nightmare to try to park the camper. The facilities were awesome. Sorry I can't remember the name. If I find it, I will post back here.

Re: camping at medina lake

Hi again Annette,
The pool is not heated (bummer), but the jacuzzi is built into it and it was fun going from pool to the warm jacuzzi. I wish the pool was heated.

I was talking about Lake Medina to our computer tech at school today and low and behold...he's thinking of moving to the area. He went a couple of weeks ago and drove around the Lake (can't go all around it) and fell in love with it.

I hope I get to go back soon because I miss it so much. If you have any more questions...don't hesitate!!! Susan:cool:

Re: camping at medina lake

We just returned from Medina Lake. The lake was down, but still gorgeous. We explored the area below the dam. Anyone interested, check out my blog.
