We are wanting to take our 5 children camping preferably on the beach after attending the Wings Over Houston Airshow Oct 7th. We are looking for someplace close to the water that we can either tent camp or rent a screen shelter. Restrooms are a must with all of the kids. Any suggestions???

If you want a State Park, Galveston Island State Park is nearby, there is a write up on this forum under the parks tab to the left . hit Parks, then Houston, then go to "g"
Its facilities include screened shelters; campsites with water and electricity and restrooms with showers. It will be windy
