Well, my family and I just moved from San Antonio to College station. Which means our favorite camping spots (Hill country SNA and Potters Creek) are now about 4 hours away.

Can someone tell me what are the good tent camping areas are in the BCS area?

Lake Somerville SP is west of you on the outskirts of metropolitan Snook .
Here's a report I did on wildflower viewing at the park.

I can't comment on camping because we didn't use those facilities. The 1 mile loop hiking trail that I mention is on the extreme west side of the Birch Creek Unit.
