I'm looking for a nice quiet campsite near Dallas. I'm going to be tent camping & primitave isn't a a problem. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Anyone that has been to Black Creek Lake (Decatur) or Hickory Creek Park (lake lewisville)...I would love your reviews.

You mean Black Creek Lake near Decatur? That's out-of-the-way quiet and has some nice long hiking trails out of it. It's the kind of place that an obnoxious crowd could pull into as well. But I don't think it gets much use.

Not one of your choices but we are heading to Ray Roberts SP Johnson Branch this weekend , they have a nice hike into some spots at Dogwood Canyon

Otherwise Hidden Cove Lake Lewisville Boat Rentals Hidden Cove Park JT's Dallas Attractions. is close and in The Colony not primative there
