I don't have pictures of the cabins but I gave a description of them on the thread "Inks June 2006". They were very clean and had plenty of room inside. About the same as a moderate sized travel trailer and certainly more room than a tent.

I have some pics from this summer but only of the cliff they kids jump off of. It's a very pretty area. Lots of mesquite trees and shady spots.

Re: Anyone have pictures of Inks lake

No plumbing whatsoever. They are approximately 10x15 ft., constructed out of cinderblocks with bare concrete floors. They have two bunkbeds so that you can sleep four people. They have a table with four chairs and broom with dustpan. There is an A/C unit mounted between the two bunkbeds. We stayed in cabin #8 during the middle of July and turned the A/C up to max as soon as we got there. I expected such a small building to be like a meat locker but that wasn't the case. It was cool but not cold. I went to sleep without any covers but got cold during the night and was using the covers by morning.

Re: Anyone have pictures of Inks lake

We were in #11. Couldn't put ac up to max since my son is a Texan, he doesn't like the cold. Still used the blankets all night. It was a treat. There is a water faucet, lantern post, firepit and picnic table outside of each cabin. Before leaving, the park lady inspected the cleaniless of our cabin and even removed the ac filter. The cabins 1-7, maybe even 8, are very nice waterfront sites. Our cabin and the one across from us were nice, more shaded, and had water access. We could have swam there but the waterhole has much more charm. There is also a penninsula behind #11 which provides a nice place for the deer to hang out.

This park is so nice. Even the drive in on park road 4 is fun. If you've been, you know the part, where it's like a roller coaster. I love that part, pedal to the floor and fly!

Re: Anyone have pictures of Inks lake

Here's a reference to some pictures of Inks Lake SP. Added a shot of one of the Mini-Cabins for you. Also added the link to a review I did on Inks Lake. Hope they both help and,

Happy Camping!
