Fishing, birding and habitat gardening are just a few the activities that will be highlighted at this event. See live animals exhibits, hear many tips on how to enjoy nature in your backyard or at your favorite outdoor getaways. Youth planning to fish will need to bring their own rod, reel, tackle and bait. Cut squid or fresh dead shrimp work well fished on the bottom; no artificial lures and barbless hooks only. Nature scavenger hunt from 10 a.m.-noon; catch and release fishing is from 1-3 p.m. only.
