Welcome to
Nature Nights, a special series of evening programs designed to share our wonderous nature in Central Texas. Join us one Friday each month in the Fall (September through November) from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. - just $1.00 per person and free for members and EcoExplorers. Each program we will explore new topics - people & plants, spiders and owls - learning about Texas culture, animal habits and habitats. Each program will also feature a habitat hike, thematic crafts, and activities galore!
The schedule for Fall Nature Nights is:
Friday, November 9 --- Owls On the Prowl: Engage in the world of owls as we listen for a hoot, a screech or a yowl at the Wildflower Center. Discover what an owl has for lunch when we dissect owl pellets. Join us on a few "owl prowls" as we learn to identify owls in their habitat.
